Obituary of William Hembree

William (Bill) Ezekiel Hembree, age 67, of Avery, Texas, died near Avery on October 2, 2010. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at 10 a.m. in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Avery Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Monday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Bruce Duncan, Don Anderson, Bob Edrington, Gerald Rust, Tony Waldrop, Jimmy Dean Gill, Dot Sexton and Jerry Lee Nation. Honorary Pallbearers are Anthony Tucker, Henry Freeman and Ronald Braden. Mr. Hembree was born in Kansas City, Mo., on September 13, 1943, to Ezekiel and Josephine J. Hembree. He was a retired fireman for Red River Army Depot. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his mother, Josephine Hembree of Ft. Worth, Texas; his son, Jeff and wife Paola Hembree of Brownsville; daughter, Kristy Michelle and husband John Soto of Ft. Worth; sisters, Sally Vincent of Ft. Worth and Mary and husband Johnny Phelps of Ft. Worth; grandchildren, Jessica & David Soto; a special friend, Sara Darden; and beloved aunt, Odessa Howard of Boswell, Oklahoma.
