Obituary of Rex Edward Post

Rex E. Post II, age 54, of Paris, Texas, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011, in Paris Regional Medical Center. Mr. Post was a 25 year veteran of the Dallas Police Department. Mr. Post was born November 11, 1957, in Merrietta, Georgia, to Rex E. Sr. and Mary Schumaker Post. He married Janet D. Vickers of Clarksville on September 30, 1989, in Red Oak, Texas. He was a member of New Haven Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Janet; three sons, Rex E. Post III, Austin B. Post, and Jonathan W. Post, all of Paris; four brothers, Willie J. Post, Roy G. Post, Andy Post and Robert L. Bohlman, all of Idabel. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2011, in Northlake Baptist Church, Dallas, with Dr. Coy Quesenbury officiating. Burial will be at 4:00 p.m. in New Haven Cemetery, Clarksville, Texas, under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
