The entire Martin family would like to extend our deepest sympathy to your family. Rex was the absolute best person I have ever known...full of character and substance. He IS the reason I chose to pursue law enforcement. My sister, Valerie Martin, passed away a number of years ago and always thought the world of Rex, as do we all. I am in the process of launching a website which I am dedicating to his memory. The on-line LEO supply store is fittingly called, "URBAN WARRIOR Supply." A percentage of ALL profits generated by the on-line store and 75% (25% has been slotted for operating expenses) of all funds donated outside the store, will be forwarded to the soon to be established, "Rex E. Post Foundation." All of this of course IF, the Post family gives their permission for this foundation to be created. If for any reason they are not comfortable with this then, we will form a charitable organization and the donations will be forwarded directly to the Post family. Whichever they are most comfortable. IT IS THE LEAST THAT I CAN DO for such a great person and I know this is exactly what my sister would want me to do and if she were still here...exactly what she would do as well.
