Dear Benton Family,
My family joined Spring Valley United Methodist Church in 1969 and that is where we met Don and Rosie. I was only 5 years old, but remember Rev. Benton welcoming us to SVIMC. My mom still attends SVUMC today. Rev. Benton confirmed me in the church along with Don Barnes and Cletus Bates- the 3 B’s!! Later, in my life, I saw Rev. Benton at Arapaho UMC and he remembered me!! What a thrill it was to see him and know he remembered me. I introduced him to my husband and Rev. Benton couldn’t believe I was married as he said it seemed like only yesterday he confirmed me. I want to extend our deepest sympathies from my family to yours. We send our love and prayers to all of you.

Dear family,
I am so sorry you have suffered the loss of your father, grandfather and friend. I regret I was unaware of Rosie passing in January. My deepest condolences for your loss. I Will keep your family in my prayers.
Don was an amazing friend to everyone, it was a blessing in my life to have known him and call him friend. May they both rest in peace together. Judy Cline
