Mr. Barton was one of my very favorite educators throughout my entire school experience. He was such a bright light. I will never forget his smile or his sense of humor. My greatest comfort comes in knowing that he left having made an enormous impact on this world. His loss will live a big hole. God bless, Mr. Barton. I hope God and His angels are prepared to be pranked. I know you are going to have a blast!!!

Jack was such an incredible man full of life and love for everyone. I have so many memories of him playing with my daughters and watching him play with, and love on, his beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There were many holidays and gatherings that I spent sitting next to him, listening to his encouraging words regarding my education and path to teaching. I have learned a lot from this man in the short time I knew him. We love him dearly and we will miss him so much.

Mr. Barton was my favorite teacher, but he was more than a teacher to his students. He wouldn't hesitate to step in and help one of us out of we needed it. I wish I could have been able to talk to him more.

My sweet Uncle Jack loved to mess with me when I was little. He’d toss me on a couch and tickle me me ‘til I was nothin’ but giggles. He also bought me my first Blade scooter. :) I miss him so much, and I wouldn’t have swapped him for a spotted horse.
