So many memories! Of course, the old High School building with no Air conditioners in early September. Everyone striking the typewriter keys at the same time! Later, Mrs. Pearce telling one of my dear classmates to stand up during an Accounting test when she caught him cheating...crib notes falling onto the floor of the portable buildings which had been set up after the Fire. While I was working at KCAR, she would be listening with her grandsons in the late afternoons and early evenings. She would call with special requests for songs. Finally, I also remember helping Mrs. Pearce for a few days during my Winter break from College. She was in the Medical Supply business. Now it all makes sense! Mrs. Pearce had received an MBA degree 25 years before I had ever heard of an MBA degree! We had some great teachers at Clarksville High School. To the Pearce family, my heartfelt condolences for your loss of your loved one. Mr. Pearce So sorry to hear of the loss of Mrs. Pearce. She taught me how to type in Typing I and I used that skill my whole working life. As and attorney I have typed thousands of pages in 33 years. I also typed my dissertation in graduate school. I couldn't express the impact knowing how to type had on my life. She was great lady and example of what a teacher should be. Mrs. Pearce was my favorite teacher, and only one I remember, from my two years at Clarksville High School. She was always so sweet and kind with a beautiful smile on her face any time I saw her. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

To the family of Ann Pearce Please accept my deepest sympathy in Mrs. Pearce's death. She was a kind and very patient teacher who I always admired. She taught me important skills in typing that were very useful when I went to Baylor University and did my Master's degree at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Mrs. Ann was my typing teacher in high school. Those skills I learned in her class are still used today. In years past, I visited with her during the annual retired teacher's luncheons (I attended as a guest). She was always so sweet and talked about her love for her students in years past. Ann was always a delight and such an uplifting lady. She epitomized what a dedicated Christian Lady should be. As I spoke with her on the phone a few weeks ago, she expressed her love, as she always did, for Sandi and me. We both feel a deep sense of loss in her passing, but know her victory is won and, thus, rejoice for her that her physical trials are over. We are saddened for Pete and the girls, while we rejoice for Ann. We'll miss her sweet smile and sparkling laugh.
