Obituary of Sammy Earl Smith

Sammy Earl Smith age 73, passed away March 26, 2018 in Paris, Texas.

He was born January 20, 1945 in Hollis, Okla, the son of Robert Cleo and Linnie Lee (Bryant) Smith.

Sammy was preceded in death by his wife, Jeannie Mae Bullard Smith on November 20, 2010.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his sister Frances Smith, Patsy Beasley and LeeAnn Baker.

Sammy is survived by his brother, Loyd Stanley Smith (Deb), sisters, Sheila Hodge (Milton) and Vicki Bratcher (Tony).

Visitation will be, Friday, March 30, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Clarksville Funeral Home

Serving as Pallbearers are; Jeremy Smith, Tim Thompson, Tony James, Rocky Sanchez, Keith Curry, Charles Carrell, Glenn Wayne Smith and Wayne Glass.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are; Lloyd Stanley Smith, Larry Wayne Smith and Glen Harvey Smith.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m.  Friday, March 30, 2018, at Forrest Hill Cemetery, Idabel, Oklahoma, with Rev. Brent Coffey officiating.  Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Sammy will be missed by friends and family far and wide and too numerous to count. He leaves behind his motto, “I have had a great life”. His smile, laughter and sense of humor will be the stamp on many hearts.
