Obituary of Thelma Peacock

Thelma Peacock, age 80, of Clarksville, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018, at Regency Nursing Center.

Thelma was born March 4, 1937, in Malta to Felix and Elsie Smith Roberts.  Preceding her in death are her husband, Doyle Peacock; her son, Roger Peacock; her grandson, Marshall Stringer; her son-in-law, Randy Stringer; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Family and friends will be gathered at Veronica Stringer's house prior to visitation and service.

The family will receive friends one hour before service time at Clarksville Funeral Home.  

Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2018, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Brown officiating.  Burial will follow in New Haven Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include her daughter, Veronica Stringer of Clarksville; 3 grandchildren, Shelley Stringer of Clarksville, Niki Peacock of Waxahachie and Chase Sampson of Forney; 3 great granddaughters, Emma, Kinley and Ella and 3 great grandsons, Gabriel, Liam and Justus.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked donations be made to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for children, 2222 Welborn St. Dallas TX. 75219.
