Obituary of Jimmy E. Dodson

~~Jimmy E. Dodson, age 57, of the Oak Grove Community, passed away, Tuesday, October 03, 2017, in Little Rock, Arkansas.  Jimmy was born February 23, 1960, in Odessa, Texas to Olan Harvey and Mary Louise Batchelor Dodson.   He was retired from J.B. Hunt trucking company, loved fishing and spending time with his beloved grandchildren.  Jimmy was preceded in death by his father; 1 brother, Olan Dodson; and 1 sister, Mary Olds. 

Visitation will be Thursday, October 5, 2017, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., at College Hill Baptist Church in DeKalb. 

Graveside services are set for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2017, at Gravel Hill Cemetery with Rev. Rockey Dodson and Rev. Steve Dodson officiating.  Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include his mother, Louise Dodson; 3 daughters, Andrea Phelps of Oak Grove Community, Angie Robinson of Texarkana and Shawna Henderson of New Boston; 1 son, Billy Henderson of Hooks; 7 brothers, Rockey Dodson and wife, Kim of DeKalb, Lawarence Dodson and wife, Tina of Erath, Louisiana, Richard Olds of Clarksville, Steve Dodson and wife, Wanda of Idabel, Oklahoma, Carlos Rhea and wife, Eileene of  DeKalb, James Olds and wife Robyn of Lafayette, Louisiana, Bobby Olds and wife Lori of Oak Grove Community; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are Matt Olds, Zack Olds, Lesly Dodson, Justin Dodson, Clifton English and Nick Brown.
