Obituary of Jan Hazel Franklin

Hazel (Jan) Janette Franklin, age 75, of Detroit, passed away, Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Stillhouse Healthcare Center.

Jan was born September 1, 1941, in Phoenix, AZ to Clarence Lee and Hazel Naomi Pilkington Yeley.  Jan was a longtime resident of Bagwell and retired from Scotch Craft Industries and Clarksville ISD.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frankie Franklin; 2 brothers, Clarence James Yeley and Willie Lee Yeley; her son, Bobby Ray Hendrix and her grandson, Scott Hendrix.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 11, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Clarksville Funeral Home.

Graveside services are set for 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2017, at Blanton Creek Cemetery.  Burial is under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include her 2 sons, Randy Eugene Hendrix and wife, Kim of Bagwell and Michael Charles Franklin and wife, Renee of Cranedall; 3 daughters, Teresa Jean Hendrix of Dallas, Gloria D. Contreras of Grand Prairie and Donna Espinosa and husband, Greg of Bagwell; 6 grandchildren, Christopher Eugene Fields, Tasha Lynn Blagg, Gilbert Contreras, Jesse Contreras, Donny Hendrix, Oscar Hendrix, Kenneth Hendrix and numerous great grandchildren.
