Obituary of Richard Hudgins

Richard Hudgins, age 87, of Annona, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at Clarksville Nursing Center. Mr. Hudgins was born, November 16, 1929, in Nash to Leslie and Viola Hudgins. He loved fishing and working in the outdoors. Richard was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister. He married Charlsie King on May 2, 1953. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 14, 2017, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis McClintic and Rev. Don Ross officiating. Burial will follow in Gilliam Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Shawn Hudgins, Ryan Hudgins, Rickey Hudgins, Dylan White, Devin White, Josh Weems and Joey Weems. The family will receive friends an hour before service time at Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Charlsie Hudgins of Annona; 1 son, Rick Hudgins and wife, Cindy of Diana; 2 daughters, Susan Westbrook and husband, Sam of the Lone Star Community and Kristin White and husband, Duane of Clarksville; grandchildren, Shawn and Ana, Ryan and Marianne, Shayna, Rickey, Savannah, Adrianna and Daniel, Dylan, Devin and Kaitlyn, Josh, Joey and Jessica, Lenna and Abbie and Blaine; and 9 great grandchildren.
