Obituary of Billy Wayne White

Billy Wayne White, age 90, of Annona, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017, at his residence. Billy was born August 31, 1926, in Clay County to John Rector and Edith Tecla Blair White. Billy retired from the City of Dallas as a Health Inspector. After retirement he worked cattle on the family farm with his sons. He also owned Pea Ridge Packing for 13 years. Billy served his country in the United States Marine Corps and fought in WWII. Billy was a proud member of the Friendship Masonic Lodge Chapter # 16 AF&AM where he had just received his 60 years masonic pen. He loved being in the outdoors, hunting and fishing, but most of all he loved his friends and family. The family will receive friends one hour before service time at Clarksville Funeral Home. Funeral services are set for 4:00 p.m. Monday, April 3, 2017, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Brown officiating. Private burial will follow in White Family Cemetery at a later date under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Dolly Lou Tidwell White of Annona; 2 sons, David Wayne White and wife, Carolyn of Clarksville and Mickey White and wife, Patty of Annona; 2 sisters, Lindy Lavy and husband, Robert of Henrietta, tx. and Beverly Simmons of Ranger; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
