Obituary of Wayne Jackson

Wayne Jackson, age 55, of Avery, passed away, Sunday, February 12, 2017. Wayne was born December 12, 1961, in Red River County to Chester Noel and Lois Lorene Rhea Jackson. Wayne was a member of the Avery Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Barbara Shimpock and his brother, Bobby Jackson, Sr. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 15, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Clarksville Funeral Home. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017, at Avery Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Roddy Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Avery Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife Pam Jackson of Avery; nephews, Rob Shimpock and wife, Lisa, Dale Shimpock and wife Bree and Bobby Jackson, Jr. and wife, Jessica; his niece, Michelle Freeman; his great nephews, Caleb Jordan, Austin Wayne Jackson and Paxton Shimpock; his great nieces, Gracie Shimpock, Ashten Shimpock, Avery Jackson, Presley Richardson and Courtney Freeman; brothers and sisters-in-law Bruce and Deborah Shimpock and Sandra and Terry Leeds; his brother-in-law, Mark Nicks; his mother-in-law, Ida Nicks; his aunt, Eudora Peek; his aunt and uncle, Eugene and Sarah Rhea and his beloved dogs, Coco and Tip.
