Obituary of Carl Edward Green

Carl Edward Green, age 84, of Clarksville passed away Sunday, July 25, 2010, at his residence. Mr. Green was born in Honey Grove on January 8, 1926, to Hollister and Birdie Allen Green. He was a retired Carpenter and served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Green. Survivors include one son, Don Green and wife Maureen of Weatherford; two daughters, Linda Green and Nancy Price and husband Joseph both of Collierville, Tennessee; grandsons, D.R. Green, Richard Green, Cameron Green, Kenneth Green, Zach Price and Jacob Price; a sister, Mae Macenally of Jacksonville; a brother, Bud Green; and eight great grandchildren, fourteen nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 27, 2010, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Van Lazaroff officiating. Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving with Rev. Hugh Wagner officiating. Services are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 to 8 at Clarksville Funeral Home.
