Obituary of Larry Junior Smith

Larry Junior Smith, age 57, of Detroit, passed away, Monday, July 5, 2010 at his residence. Larry was the owner of Smith Trucking. He was born January 2, 1953 in Detroit to James Thomas and Eula Mae Smith. Larry enjoyed fishing, his motorcycle and was all about family. He also was a member of the First Baptist Church in Detroit. His brothers; Louis, Jimmy, Jerry and Delbert Smith preceded him in death. A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2010, at the First Baptist Church in Detroit with Rev. Doug Higdon officiating. Services are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include four sons, Chris Smith and wife Kathie of Detroit, Jamie Smith and wife Tara of Blossom, Doug Smith and wife Jennifer of Detroit and Luke Smith of Detroit; a brother, Roy Smith of Detroit; three sisters, Tommie Mae Sharon, Lois Sharon and Patricia Fekety; twelve grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews including Kirk Smith of Detroit.
