Obituary of Jimmy Leon Cox

Jimmy Leon Cox age 54 of Blossom, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Dubuis Hospital, Paris, Texas. Mr. Cox was born May 7, 1955 in Clarksville to Leon and Margaret Collvins Cox. He has worked with the Campbell Soup Company in Paris for the last 26 years and was the Processing and Procedures Manager. He had his Masters of Education in Bacteriology, his Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology and an Associate Degree in Zoology. He had won numerous awards with Campbell Soup Company including the Plant Manager Award. Jimmy was a Paramedic and taught many Paramedic classes in the area. Survivors include his wife, Kitty Robertson Cox of Blossom; his mother and father, Leon and Margaret Cox of Blossom; a son, Jeffrey Cox of Paris; a daughter, Robin Cox of Blossom; and two grandchildren. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2009 in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Gossett officiating. Burial will follow in Avery Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Kyle Burrow, Robbie Collvins, David Brooks, Jim Irwin, Coleman Morris, Don Hodgson, Smooth Jackson, Gary Stewart and Keith Burrow.
