Obituary of Dana Caldwell Woody

Dana Caldwell Woody, age 72, of the Boxelder community, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at her residence. Mrs. Woody was born June 10, 1938, in Troy, Tennessee to Rupert and Barnett Leathers Caldwell. She enjoyed singing, photography, writing notes, loved her family and especially spending time with her husband. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service and a member of the Salem Baptist Church. The family will receive friends an hour before service time at the church. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2010, at the Salem Baptist Church in Boxelder with Rev. Bill Dickey officiating. The family will receive friends an hour before service time at the church. Serving as Pallbearers are Trey Woody, Zach Woody, Colton Woody, Blake Crigger, Brad Woody and Dedrick Stiles. Survivors include her husband, Bobby Woody of Boxelder; sons, Bobby Ray Woody, Jr. and wife Dianne of Boxelder, Scott Caldwell Woody and wife Patricia of Elbridge, Tennessee and Alan Kent Woody and wife Heather of Union City, Tennessee; a daughter, Vicky Jane Woody Crigger and husband James of Franklin, Tennessee; and six grandchildren, Alan Blakely Crigger, Zachary McGuire Woody, Dana Brooke Crigger, Colton Scott Woody, Bobby Ray “Tray” Woody III and Elizabeth Alan Woody.
