Obituary of Perry Leo Tucker

Perry Leo Tucker, age 74, of Hope Arkansas and formerly of Clarksville passed away Sunday, October 11, 2009, in Christus St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana. Leo was born Dec. 13, 1934 in Avery to Perry and Myrtle Foster Tucker. He Retired from the Red River Army Depot and was a member of the Avery Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Kenneth Tucker; a sister, Ann Hackler; a brother, Oscar Tucker; and a nephew, Bruce Hackler. Survivors include one son, Ronnie Tucker of Clarksville; three daughters, Judy De La Mare and husband Les of Clarksville, April Stout of Hope, Arkansas and Dallas Switzer of Emmet, Arkansas; two sisters, Vivian Ballew of Troup and Jimmie Ruth Smith of Clarksville; one brother, Ray Tucker of Clarksville; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2009 in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Savannah Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are G. A. Hines, J. B. Weems, Herman Ballew, Larry Roseberry, Gerald Holder and Richard Roseberry
