Obituary of William Russell Robinett

William Russell Robinett, age 89, of the Manchester Community, passed away, Monday, April 26, 2010, at ETMC Clarksville. Mr. Robinett was born May 10, 1920 in the Blakeney Community of Red River County to Josh and Maude Cogburn Robinett. He was a member of the Church of Christ. His parents and a brother, Terrell Robinett preceded him in death. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2010, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Mr. Steve Marx officiating. Burial will follow in Manchester Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Mary Thompson Robinett of the Manchester Community; his son, Bill Robinett and wife Leta of the Manchester Community; a brother, Donald Robinett of Kerrville; two grandchildren, Michelle Robinett of Palestine and Susan Guest and husband Cody of Rockwall; two great grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and 10 step great-grandchildren. Serving as Pallbearers are Windell Baggett, Ryan Butler, Ron Butler, Mike Clifton, Lindy Guest and Forrest Roraback. Honorary Pallbearer is Smokey Lockhart.
