Obituary of Charles Dean Coffman

Charles Dean Coffman, age 78, of Ft. Worth, formerly of Red River County, passed away, Sunday, April 4, 2010, in Ft. Worth. Charles was born February 29, 1932, in Annona to Samuel and Lela Coffman. He was a used car dealer in Ft. Worth since 1969 on 28th street. He was a good, loving man who will be missed forever and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother and sisters, Pauline Barnes, M.T. Coffman, Edward Coffman, Maycel Hall, Dorothy Jean Garrison and Frank Coffman. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 7, 2010, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will follow in English Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Wanda; his daughter, Diane Prince and husband Thomas; his grandchildren, Amber Roberts, Jon Roberts and wife Elizabeth, Jacob Roberts and Mila Freeman and husband Johnny; great-grandson, 6-year-old Charles Justin Roberts, the light of his life; sister, Maxine Mathis; brother, Jack Coffman and wife Nell; brothers-in-law, George White and wife Mary, Albert hall; sisters-in-law, Betty Detrixhe, Barbara Finley, Lena White, Geneva White; and many, many loving nieces and nephews.
