Obituary of Jimmie Ann Warthan

Jimmie Ann Warthan age 72 of Ft. Worth and formerly of Avery passed away, Saturday, August 29, 2009, at Odyssey House Hospice Center in Ft. Worth. Ms. Warthan was born July 21, 1937 in Kilgore to Herbert and Margie Myers Warthan. She was a retired teacher and had her Masters of Education and taught English, Journalism and Speech. She was a member to the Church of Christ. Survivors include a sister, Jonell Donohue and husband Kevin of Ft. Worth; 2 brothers, Gary Warthan of Avery and Dr. Lynn Warthan and wife Jackie of Nacogdoches; 3 nieces; 1 nephew. Funeral services are set for 2:30 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2009 in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Kevin Donohue officiating. Burial will follow in Warthan Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
