Obituary of Bill Thompson

Bill Thompson, age 92 of Bogata, passed away, Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at his residence. Mr. Thompson was born to Johnny and Mary King Thompson on February 7, 1918 in Hugo, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Bogata Assembly of God Church. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2010 in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in Cuthand Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday night from 6 to 8 at Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include a son, Bill Thompson of Grapeland; a step-son, Jerry Lee Thompson of California; and a daughter, Billie J. Barrett of Bogata; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
