Obituary of Frankie Franklin

Frankie Franklin, age 71 of Bagwell, Texas, died December 27, 2012, at his residence. Frankie was retired from Kimberly-Clark in Paris, Texas, served in the U.S. Army and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a wonderful husband, grandfather and friend who touched many lives. He attended the Bagwell Baptist Church. He married Jan Yeley on July 3, 1975, in Grand Prairie, Texas. Frankie was born in Emory to Ben and Anne Keaton Franklin on April 23, 1941. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and 1 brother. Graveside services are set for 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 31, 2012, under the Pavillion at Blanton Creek Cemetery with Rev. Karl Bush officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Joseph Franklin, Gilbert Contreras, Jesse Contreras, Donny Holder, Oscar Hendrix, Kenneth Hendrix and Christopher Fields. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4 to 6 p.m., at Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Jan Franklin of Bagwell; 2 sons, Michael Franklin of Crandall and Randy Hendrix of Bagwell; 3 daughters, Donna Espinosa and husband Greg of Bagwell, Gloria Contreras of Grand Prairie and Teresa Hendrix of Carrollton; 1 brother, Tony Franklin and wife Karen of Forney; 7 grandsons; 2 granddaughters; and 15 great grandchildren.
