Obituary of Donald Putteet

Donald Putteet, age 69, of Clarksville, passed away, Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at his residence. Donald was born August 30, 1940, in Clarksville to Alford Lane and Norma LaVern Travillion Putteet. His parents and a son, Ronny Putteet preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Francine Holder Putteet; one son, Ruben Putteet of Clarksville; sisters, Pat Moore and husband Jimmy of Texarkana, Rita Johnson of Irving, Glenda David of Texarkana, Patricia Yeatman of Bogata, Brenda Yancy of Texarkana, Vicky Morse of Texarkana and Regina Stewart of Dallas; two brothers, Connie Puteet and wife Tammy of Avery and Ricky Putteet of Dallas. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 18, 2010, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Peek and Rev. James Hinkle officiating. Burial will follow in New Haven Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6 to 8 at Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Billy Peek, Billy Mitchell, Larry Smith, Paul Allen, James Bills, Bill McGill, Philip Smith and Kenneth Storey. Honorary Pallbearers are Billy Sam Allen, Russell Ward, Curtis Phelps, Lee Cross, Tracy Travillion, Bobby Nolen, Mark Nolen and Dillion McCoy.
