Obituary of Billy Jack Audas

Billy Jack Audas of Pottsboro, formerly of Avery, passed away, Sunday, November 25, 2012, at Texoma Medical Center. Mr. Audas was born July 1, 1939, in Watonga, Oklahoma to Clifton and Mary Brumbley Audas. He was preceded in death by his parents; his 1st wife, Julia Audas; and a son, David Lynn Audas. Survivors include his wife, Gayle Cobb Audas of Pottsboro; his daughters, Catherene Guterezz and husband David of Palmer, Connie Wyatt of Palmer and Virginia Baze and husband Chris of Portland; a step son, Danny R. Cox and wife, Amy of McKinney; a brother, Randall Audas and wife, Joan of Avery; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; and 2 step great grandchildren. Graveside services are set for 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at Avery Cemetery with Rev. James Brown and Dr. Charles L. Bassett officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Clarksville Funeral Home.
