Obituary of Beth McKelvey

Beth McKelvey, age 65 of Bagwell, Texas, passed away, Monday, November 5, 2012, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Mrs. McKelvey was born February 21, 1947, in Detroit to Jimmy and Opal Ringwald Poor. She was retired from Philips Products and a member of Leesville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert McKelvey; her son, Jimmy McKelvey; her grandson, Justin Miller; her granddaughter, Whitney McKelvey; her step-dad, Luke Draper; and her brothers, Charles and Jerry Poor. Graveside services are set for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 8, 2012, under the Pavillion at Leesville Cemetery with Rev. Karl Bush officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6 to 8 at Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Randy Poor, Jonathon Poor, Christopher Poor, Ryan McKelvey, James Atwood and Edgar Atwood. Survivors include a son, Robert Mckelvey of Manchester; 2 daughters, Lana Miller and husband Danny of Bagwell and Katrina McKelvey of Manchester; a sister, Opal Atwood of Sulphur Springs; 4 grandchildren, Halley and Lauren Miller and Ryan and Chaylee McKelvey.
