Obituary of Mildred Esteen Barton

Mildred Barton, age 84, of the English Community, died June 18, 2012, at Regency Nursing Home. Mrs. Barton was born November 20, 1927, in Farmersville, Louisiana to Archie and Martha McDonald Smith. She was a member of the Williams Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Barton and a son, Jack Barton. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at the Williams Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Carl Sterling officiating. Burial will follow in English Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6 to 7 at Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include 4 sons, James Barton and wife, Nancy of English, Johnny Barton and wife, Joe Helen of Jacksonville, Carlas Barton and wife, Janice of Allen and Jerry Barton of Gilmer; her grandchildren, Tara Barton, Melanie Smith, Matthew Barton, Jeff Barton and Bill Barton; and 5 great grandchildren.
