Obituary of Dimple Thomas
.Dimple Thomas, age 75, of Blossom, went home to be with the Lord on May 21, 2012, after a long battle with cancer.
Funeral services are 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, May 24, 2012, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Henry Blackmon officiating. Burial will follow in Leesville Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Dakota Boyett, Tony Boyett, Johnny Edwards, Kelvin Edwards, Ryan Farmer and Charlie Swakye.
Dimple was born February 7, 1937, in Addilou to Lesley and Violet Harvey Turner. She married Jack Thomas in 1989. She retired from Campbell Soup Company after 30 years. She was a member of the East Post Oak Missionary Baptist Church.
Dimple loved gardening, garage sales, and spending time with her family and friends. She will truly be missed by all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lesley; a brother, John Harvey Turner; her husband, Jack Thomas; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Jones.
She is survived by her three children, her son, DeWayne Wilson and wife, Valea of Blossom, her daughters, Kathy Dumas of Blossom and Angie Brown and husband, Steven of Blossom; her mother, Violet Turner of Paris; a sister, Linda Daniels and husband, Mike; 3 grandchildren, James Wilson, Lesley Wilson and wife, Shawna, and Heather Boyett; great grandchildren, Dakota, Landon, Shiloh, Faith and Kaiden; and three stepchildren, Mark Thomas and wife, Marsha, Gene Thomas and wife Dolean and Linda Young and husband, Dale.
