Obituary of Carolyn Faye Carson

Carolyn Faye (Aunta) Carson, age 63, of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Paris Regional Medical Center, Paris, Texas. Carolyn was born on February 21, 1946, in Red River County, Texas to Rainey Douglas and Thelma Louise Green Stringer. She was a member of the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church and worked for the Clarksville Independent School District. She married James Carson on July 15, 1961. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, James Carson of Clarksville, son Jimmy Carson and wife, Shannon of Clarksville, brothers, Larry and wife, Rose Stringer, Mark and wife Janet Stringer, Terry and wife, June, Stringer, Tony & wife Tammie Stringer, all of Clarksville, sisters, Sue and husband Buddy Stanley, Tonya and husband, James Martin, Rhonda and husband, David McEntire, all of Clarksville. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2010, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Kellam and Rev. James Brown Officiating. Burial will be in Jamison Chapel Cemetery under direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4 to 6 P. M. Pallbearers are Brian Stringer, Heath Stringer, Gary Stanley, Ronnie Stanley, Craig Fletcher and Dustin Stringert. Honorary pallbearers will be Dalton Stringer, Kolton Stringer, Matthew Stanley, Luke Martin and Kasey Carson.
