Obituary of Darrel Hoyt Ellis

Darrel Ellis, age 78, of Houston, formerly of Red River County, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2011. Darrel was born July 27, 1933, in Kenefie, Oklahoma, to Verdell and Alice Ellis. He was a retired computer technician for an oil company. Darrel was preceded in death by his parents and his wife in 2000, Margie Kelly Ellis. Funeral Services are set for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at the Avery Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Rod Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Avery Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. He is survived by his daughter, Cinthia Ellis Macias of Katy; two sisters, Yvonne Jones of Wilmington, N.C. and Linda Hyder of Jenxs, Ok.; one brother, Jack Ellis of Huntsville, Ala.
