Obituary of Ruby McCasland

Ruby McCasland, age 87, of Clarksville, Passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012, at ETMC in Clarksville. Mrs. McCasland was born in Red River County on July 26, 1924, to George and Hattie Harvey Brackett. She and her husband, Bill Wayne, both worked for Jolley’s and Bogata Funeral Homes for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wayne McCasland; a sister, Ruth McGill; a brother, Ronald Brackett; and a nephew, Richard Glen “Dick” McGill. Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Bro. Jack Holt officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Honorary Pallbearers are Matt McGill, Mark McGill, Andrew McGill, Jonathan Baird, Tanner McGill and Jaxon Baird. Survivors include her nieces, Judy Parks and husband, Ronald of Paris, Mary Beth McGill of Clarksville and Sandra McClour and husband, Barry of Clarksville; a nephew, Bill McGill and wife, Mary Jo of Clarksville; great nieces and nephews, Jill McClour, Drew McGill, Matt McGill and Mark McGill; and great-great nieces and nephews, Tanner McGill, Chloe Baird and Jaxon Baird.
