Obituary of Charles Frank Poor

Charles Frank “Poor Boy” Poor, age 68, of the Manchester Community, passed away, February 17, 2012, at his residence. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 21, 2012, at Leesville Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Jonathon Poor, Christopher Poor, Coby Lacy, Kenny Lacy, Jacob Barnett and Josh Whitt. Honorary Pallbearers are Colton Poor, Brian Poor, Charlie Poor and Jason Elrod. Charles was born in Detroit, Texas, to Jimmy and Opal Ringwald Poor. He was of the Baptist faith and a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Jerry Poor. Survivors include his wife of the home, June Jones Poor; 1 son, Randy Poor and wife Leigh Ann of the Manchester Community; 2 daughters, Rhonda Lacy of Valliant, Oklahoma, and Connie Barnett and husband Tim of Maxey, Texas; 2 sisters, Beth McKelvey of the Manchester Community and Opal Ruth Atwood of Birthwright, Texas; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and one on the way.
