Obituary of Larry Cook

Larry Cook, age 51, of Bagwell, passed away Saturday, December 03, 2011, at his residence. Larry was a former employee of Ricks Farm and Home. He and his wife, Emma also delivered the Dallas Morning News in Red River County for over 10 years. Larry was born September 5, 1960, in Stringtown, Missouri to Leroy and Violet Harris Cook. He was preceded in death by his father, and a niece, Charity Burrow. He married his wife, Emma on July 9, 1988, in Sulphur Springs. Funeral services are set for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2011, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Karl Bush officiating. Cremation will follow after the services under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Monday night from 6 to 8 at Clarksville Funeral Home. Honorary Pallbearers are Rick Bachman, John Charlie Dotson, Jason Dotson and Johnny Hawley. Surviving Larry are his wife, Emma; his son, Larry Benjamin Cook of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; his mother, Violet Cook of Manila, Arkansas; 3 sisters, Laura McDowell and husband Darrell of Manila, Arkansas, Opal Burgin of Como and Doris Jones and Ted Johnson of Manila, Arkansas; 4 brothers, Lloyd Cook of Cambell, Missouri, Ray Burrow of Winnsboro, Gene Burrow and wife Dianna of Manila, Arkansas, and James Cook and wife Dee of Winnsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
