Obituary of Lois Hall Crook
Lois Hall Crook, age 90, of Clarksville, passed away, Sunday, November 13, 2011, at Bradford Oaks Senior Living Center in McKinney. Mrs. Crook was retired from the Carrollton Independent School District.
Mrs. Crook was born in the Blakeney Community of Red River County, December 15, 1920, to Alf Franklin and Mary Beuna Pittman Hall. She was a member of the College Avenue Baptist Church. She married Jack Crook January 21, 1940. He preceeded her in death on Feburary 24, 2002. She also was preceeded in death by a son, Jimmy Franklin Crook; a daughter, Carolyn Lee Cain; 2 sisters; and 1 brother.
Survivors include her grandson, John Cain and wife Lisa of Anna; a great granddaughter, Amanda Sauls and husband Matt of McKinney; a brother, Paul Hall of Bagwell; a sister-in-law, Mildred Hall of Bagwell and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2011, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Ellis officiating. Burial will follow Tuggle Springs Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Frank Joplin, Earl Zeliff, Tommy Joplin, Jimmy Crook, John McKee and Jerry Hall.
Honorary Pallbearer is Joe Joplin.
