Obituary of Marty J. Murphy

Marty Murphy, age 59, of Avery, passed away, Sunday, October 30, 2011, at Christus St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana. Marty was born March 3, 1952, in Omaha, Nebraska to Robert and Martten Holtz Joy. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Marty was an avid animal lover and a was a supporter of The Humane Society of the United States. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2011, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Boxelder Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are John Richard Williams, John King Williams, Matthew Armstron, Justin Patterson, A.J. Morris and Kyle Hunt. Survivors include her husband, Don Murphy of Avery; 3 daughters, Robyn Barnes of Coppell, Heather Patterson and husband Derek of Converse and Holly Moore and husband Jeff of the English Community; her grandchildren, Ashley, Justin, Matthew, Jaret, Briley, Kyle and Kaden; and 1 brother, Robert Joy and wife Judy of Cedar Bluff, Nebraska.
