Obituary of Oma Ruth Smith

Oma Ruth Low Smith, age 89, of Detroit, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2010, at Brentwood Terrace in Paris. Mrs. Smith was born on October 7, 1921, in Woodland to Charlels and Minnie Low. She was a homemaker and a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Detroit. She was preceded indeath be her husband, James Hursul Smith and her parents. Survivors include a daughter, Jeanette McMullin of Athens, Ga. And six sons, James Smith, Wickenburg Az., Chales Smith, Magnolia, Jerrel Smith, Ft. Worth, Larry Smith, Detroit, Bob Smith, Detroit, David Smith, Dallas, seven grandchildren and many great grandchildren. A celebration of life and viewing will be Monday, August 22, 2011, at Clarksville Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be her sons.
