Obituary of Judy Thompson

Jana L. “Judy” Thompson, age 73, of Clarksville, died Sunday, May 22, 2011, in Clarksville Nursing Center. Judy was born May 8, 1938, in Abilene to Garland Auto and Floy Campbell Henderson. She was a member of the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Faye James. Funeral services are set for 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2011 in Lindeman Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Kellam officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Jimmy Thompson, Allan Thompson, Jeffery Thompson, Wesley Thompson, Butch Thompson Ronnie James and Justin Dilbeck. Survivors include her husband, Earl Thompson of Clarksville; two sons, Jimmy Thompson and wife Shelly of Corinth and Allan Thompson and wife Lauri of Villiage Mills; one daughter, Janice Kay Long and husband Joe of Clarksville; one sister, Barbara Ray of Brady; one brother, Garland “Son” Henderson of Houston; five grandchildren, Jeffery Thompson, Shelly Dilbeck, Wesley Thompson, Alicia Thompson and Kaylee Hamilton; and six great grandchildren, Jayden, Corley, Ava, London, Bricen and Lylith.
