Obituary of Charlsie H. Morris

Charlsie H. Morris, age 89, of Annona, passed away Monday, April 18, 2011, at ETMC in Clarksville. Charlsie was born February 6, 1922, in Red River County to Charles and Georgia Mace Titus. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Avery and loved her family and friends. Charlsie was employed at the Pentagon for four years and spent the remainder of her time as a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kermit Morris; a granddaughter, Charlsie Stiles; six brothers and one sister. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2011, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Churchill and Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Savannah Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include two sons, Colman Morris of Paris and Bruce Morris of Scroggins; one daughter, Georgia Stiles of Annona; two sisters, Maggie Kerbow of Houston and Jeraldeen Warner of Houston; four grandchildren, Lee Stiles, Brandon Morris, Bryan Morris and Brent Morris. Pallbearers are Ben Kelsoe, Jerry Glasco, Marvin Black, Phil Carey, Ship Langford and Eddy Stiles. Honorary Pallbearers are Jimmy Howland, Bo Dean, Bailey Cruce, Jeff Gaines and Fuzzy Henson.
