Obituary of Bennie Melton Roebuck

Bennie M. Roebuck, age 98, of Blossom, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Pine Tree Ranch Assisted Living in Paris. Mr. Roebuck was born the son of Edward and Beulah Yeager Roebuck on August 29, 1912, in Soper, Oklahoma. He worked for Exxon Oil Company and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a son, Darwin M. Roebuck, two sisters, one brother and one grandson. Survivors include three sons, Jerry Roebuck and wife Frances of Memphis, Tennessee, Duane Roebuck and wife Margaret of Blossom and Lee Roebuck and wife Dianne of Burleson; eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a daughter in law, Hilde Roebuck. Graveside services are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2011, under the Pavilion at Blanton Creek Cemetery with Rev. Bill Felts officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
