Obituary of Frieda Marie Gilbert

Frieda Marie “Nonnie” Gilbert, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, age 83, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at ETMC Clarksville. Mrs. Gilbert was born June 26, 1927, in Dallas to John Joseph and Margaret Marie Zehetner Kishner. She married Marshall Neil Gilbert on December 22, 1945. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Gregory Charles Palmer; a two grandson, Clay Alan Rayshell and Joshua Lane Duce. Survivors include her husband, Marshall Neal Gilbert; a son, John Gilbert and wife Charlsey of Garland; three daughters, Susan Rayshell of Greenville, Cathy Ballantine and husband Jim of Clarksville and Betty Jo Gi of Clarksville; grandchildren, Stephanie Steele, Clint and wife Linsey Gilbert, Bradley Rayshell, Carrie and husband Marty Gray, Kelly Peek, Leah and husband Jeremy Smith and Drue Ballantine; great grandchildren, Brandon, Cameron, Dylan, Zoe, Knox, Kennedy, Emory, Lindsay, Emillia and Sydney. The family will be at the Gilbert residence. Services are set for 1:30 p.m., Friday, March 25, 2011, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Bishop Matt Terry presiding, Kerry Murdock delivering the eulogy, Lorin Murdock dedicating the grave and remarks by John Hart. Burial will follow in Fairview cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Drue Ballantine, Brad Rayshell, Clint Gilbert, Marty Gray, Blaine Peek, Jeremy Smith and Michael Schneyder. Donations may be made to the Red River County Library at P.O.
