Obituary of James L. Ward

James L. “Jim” Ward, age 77, of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2011, at his residence. Jim was born September 26, 1933, in Clarksville to James R. and Sybil Howland Ward. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and served in the National Guard. Jim was a true Cattleman and Horseman, through and through. Private graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 28, 2011, at Madras Cemetery with Rev. Ed Dodson officiating. Arrangements are by Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will be at the Ward residence in Clarksville. Survivors include his wife Joyce Lynn Allen Ward of the home; two sons, James Allen Ward and Seth Edward Ward both of Clarksville; his grandsons, Tye Ward, Casey Ward and Cole Ward; one sister, Glenna Calaway of Flower Mound; and a brother, Ross Ward of Paris.
