Obituary of Nellie Marie Green

Nellie M. McClure Green, age 86, of Clarksville, died Saturday, January 15, 2011, at her residence. Mrs. Green was born in Clarksville on November 1, 1924, to Jessie and Helen Parker McClure. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clarence Othar Green, and son, Rickey Dean Green. She is survived by her children, Dorothy Marie Thornburg of Athens, Birdie Helen Seaton of Mt. Pleasant, Billy Joe Green of Wichita Falls, J. C. Green of Clarksville, Othar Glen Green of Clarksville, Linda Faye Early of Seven Points, Elmer Ray Green of Bogata, Brenda Sue Green of Tyler, David Wayne Green of Clarksville, Mary Lou Ramirez of Tyler, Debra Jane Ozornea of Malakoff, Barbara Lynn Locke of Athens, Glenda Louise White of Clarksville and Daphne Ann Espinoza of Athens, 43 grandchildren, 71 great grandchildren and 27 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2011, in Lindeman Chapel with Rev. Robert Dillon officiating. Burial will follow in Albion Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers are Mickey White, Timothy Raulston, Jose Espinoza, Jr., Tony Ponce, Paul Raulston and Keith Tatom. Honorary pallbearers will be Miguel Green and Matthew Ponce.
