Obituary of Beulah Fae Shirley

Beulah Fae Shirley, a wonderful mother and grandmother, age 88, of Allen, passed away Saturday, January 02, 2010, in Allen. Mrs. Shirley was born April 12, 1921 in Vernon to William Hubert and Mattie Scarbrough Howland. She attended the Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Shirley; a daughter Mary Hill; 8 brothers; and 2 sisters. Survivors include 2 daughters, Marilyn Trent and husband Lorton of McKinney and Shirley Latta and husband Charlie of Caddo Mills; 2 grandchildren, Jennifer Patterson and Stacy Baugh; 3 great grandchildren, Luna Patterson, Katrina Patterson and Emily Baugh; and a sister, Ludie Clark of Alba. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2010 in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Leon Howland officiating. Burial will follow in Brewster Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Serving as Pallbearers are Lorton Trent, Charlie Latta, Sonny Clark, R.J. Winkle, Michael Clark and Jimmy Winkle.
