Obituary of John Arthur Bagby

John Arthur Bagby III, age 65, of Clarksville, passed away, January 2, 2011, at Legend Healthcare Center in Paris. John was born September 1, 1945 in Clarksville to James Elliott “Doc” and Valarie Parks Bagby. John was a carpenter and worked with the Green Family in the Mountain Valley Spring Water Business. He was member of the First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include a son, Jim Bagby of Garland; a daughter, Laura Bagby of Dallas; two granddaughters, Nikole Stringer and Blaire Peek; two sisters, Barbara Parker of Sumner and Betty Wood of Reno; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services for John are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2011, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Dodson officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
