Obituary of Billie Marx Joyner

Billie Marx Joyner, age 73, of Garland, passed away, December 26, 2010, at Baylor Hospital in Garland. Mrs. Joyner was born December 4, 1937, in Clarksville, to William H. and Lola B. Anderson Joyner. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters. Survivors include three daughters, Cheryl and husband James Phillips of Grand Prairie, Toni Marie Pounds of Mesquite, and Kerrie Elaine and husband Brian Robinson of Forny; a former son-in-law, George Pounds; grandchildren, Robyn Denise Vrabel, Robbieanne Whitney Green, Shawn Allen Pounds, Chase Calvin Robinson, Georgia Marx Robinson; great grandchildren, Kel’lee Denise Chancey, Sarah Michelle Chancey, Keara Louise St. John, Sydney Allisa Vrabel and Khloe Rachelle Vrabel. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2010, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour before service time at the funeral home.
