Obituary of Debra Kay Whitaker

Debra Kay Whitaker, age 58 years, 9 months and 28 days joined Jesus in Heaven on September 10, 2019.  Debra was born November 13, 1960, in Clarksville to Dewey Samuel and Joyce Bills Stansbury.  She was a graduate of Clarksville High School and a active  member of the “RR” Cowboy Church and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Debra was always happy to see everyone she met.  She brought a warm smile and get hugs to all she new.  She will be remembered for her loving sprit and careing heart.  Debra was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother, Russell Stansbury; and an Aunt-Mentor, Ocie Gray; and uncle, James Stansbury.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, James Whitaker of Clarksville; son, Robert Whitaker and wife, Jessica of Clarksville; grandson, Kyle; brother, Sammy Stansbury; step father, Leroy Stafford and numerous brother's brother and sister in laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many cousins.  Everyone Debra knew was a part of her family.

Memorial services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Sunday, September 15, 2019 at the "RR" Cowboy Church. 

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
