Just a few words to say how sorry we were to hear of Mike's passing. Carl and Patricia Neal were really close friends of the Tharp family back in the 70s. We knew Mike as a teenager, when he served in the military, and as a young man who came back home and resumed his civilian life. I can think of so many good times and stories back in the day. There was a lot of eating meals together, fishing, hunting, and helping each other out with whatever project presented itself at the time. We moved off and missed many years of their frienship....but will remember the great times we had together way back when... James C. Neal

I am going to miss my cousin Mike. I have fond memories of him making me my first fried baloney sandwich and we went to the corner store for RC's and moon pies and we charged them, little did we know what charging meant, poor Aunt Fannie. All of the Tharp family made you feel welcome and what ever they had they shared, but the love, laughs and hugs were more precious than anything. Mike is in good company with his mother and Jo, they are all in my heart and I miss them dearly. I will not be able to get away for the funeral but may God bless.

I am so sorry for the loss of Mike. May God Bless and Keep you all always. We had some good times, and some bad times at our Good Ole Annona High School and those were memoriable days that none of us can ever forget. Me and Mike had our up and downs, but he was always there to listen to your problems, and a good friend.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Mike was a great friend of ours. There are no words that can help at this time, but just know that we will be praying for you all. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 tells us that The Father of mercies and God of all comfort....comforts us in all our tribulation. May God bless each of you in the days to follow thru your loss. Friends of all, Carl/Marty Wilcox Linden, Tx.
