Obituary of James Owens

James Edgar Owens, age 69, of Paris, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2010 in Paris Regional Center in Paris. Mr. Owens was born in Clarksville on July 8, 1941, to Edgar and Velma Steele Owens. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at Lanes Chapel Cemetery with Rev. James Brown officiating. Services are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include his son, Jimmy and Karen Owens of Pasadena, daughter, Beth and Mark Thais of San Antonio, sisters Bobbie Ann and Mark Peek of Annona, and Mary Jo and Burrell Ashford of Paris, and 6 grandchildren.
