Obituary of Albert Norwood

Albert Norwood, age 75, of Collinsville, passed away, Wednesday, February 20, 2019.  He was born, December 21, 1943 to Marshall E and Mary Elizabeth Curry Norwood. Albert was a loving father, grandfather and friend. He also served in the U.S. Navy. Preceded him in death was his wife; Judy D. Norwood and three sisters.

Survivors include 2 sons; Steve Byrd and wife Danyel of Whitesboro and Timmy Byrd of Sherman, 3 sisters; Marsha Phifer of Detroit, Kimberly Norwood Sanders of Bridge City and Arnetta Bailey of Paris, 1 granddaughter; Breanna Byrd and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Mike Clark, Scott Clark, Blaine Phifer, Lee “Peanut” Phifer and Jamie Thompson.

Funeral services are set for Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lindeman Chapel. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home at Bluff Cemetery with Tony Jackson officiating.

Family will receive friends one hour before service time at the Clarksville Funeral home.
