Obituary of James Earl Roberts

James Earl “Possum” Roberts, of the Dimple Community, passed away, Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at Titus Regional Medical Center.  James was a loving son, enjoyed fishing and being with his family and friends.  “Possum” was employed through Manley Roraback Logging.  He was born, December 26, 1970, in Clarksville to Earl Glenn and Jo Ann Eilers Roberts.  His father; and an uncle, Ross Eilers preceded him in death.

Funeral services are set for 1:30 p.m., Thursday, February 14, 2019, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Joseph Mangum officiating.  Burial will follow in Jamison Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends an hour before service time at Clarksville Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Kendell Westbrook, Dean Floyd, Manley Roraback, Chris Blyth, Race Long, Kenny Phillips and Chase Long.

Honorary Pallbearers are Robert Cole, Brandon Nix, Malcom Weems and Joseph Emmers.

Survivors include his wife, Angelena Gill Roberts of Dimple; his son, Dakota Lee Roberts of Boxelder; his mother, Jo Ann Roberts of Dimple; his dogs, Pee-Wee, Leonard and Bubba and several relatives and friends.
